OVERVIEW OF SAMBURU SAFARI
At 0700Hrs-Early in the morning meet and greet by our driver/guide and be briefed about the safari. Samburu National Park is known for the presence of its unique species. The journey will take approximately seven hours. On arrival, check into the hotel and have lunch and enroute to the park. Day 1 evening game drive. Day 2 has morning and evening game drives. Day 3 has morning game drives as you en route to Nairobi. End of Safari.
DAY 1: NAIROBI TO SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
At 0700Hrs-Early in the morning meet and greet by our driver/guide and be briefed about the safari before departing to Samburu. Samburu National Reserve is known for the presence of its unique species such as gravy’s zebra, the long-necked gerenuk, and other wildlife that share this semi-arid habitat. It’s also the home of Kamunyak and a lioness famous for adopting Oryx calves
You will check-in and have lunch as you wait for the evening game drive. Drive to the park in search of rare native animals such as gerenuk, gravy’s zebra, beisia oryx, reticulated giraffe, and the blue-legged somali ostrich, elephant also the three big cats -lion, cheater, african leopard. You may find mammals like buffalos, wart hock, and waterbuck
The team returns to the lodge late in the evening just in time for dinner
Dinner and overnight at Camp
(Dinner time from 1900hrs to 2100hrs)
DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE AT SAMBURU
Morning breakfast from 0700hr to 0900hr and En-route to the park for game drive. The expected animals are giraffes, olive baboons, warthogs, grants gazelles, krik’s dik-dik, waterbuck, and a black rhinoceros. Samburu Reserve has a number of grazers such as the Cape buffalo, hippopotamus, and impalas.
The park has a frequent water supply for the animals from the Ewaso Ng’iro River which hosts a number of crocodiles anticipating to prey.
The park has over 450 species of birds both residents and migrants sported through the acacia, riverine, and savannah grassland vegetation, easily spotted are kingfishers, vultures, eagles, guinea fowls, Somali ostrich, falcon, bee-eaters, hornbills, and egret. Head to the Camp for lunch as you wait for the evening game drive.
In the evening proceed to view the Ololokwe Mountain which is the Samburu sacred mountain and return to the camp for dinner.

DAY 3: DEPART SAMBURU EN-ROUTE TO NAIROBI
Morning breakfast will be served from 0700hrs to 0900hrs, check out by 1000hr and En-route to Nairobi with Lunch sopr over at Nanyuki town.Drop off at the hotel or Airport.
This will be an unforgettable 3-Days Samburu National reserve that ends upon arrival back in Nairobi.
